The pasta was a but undercooked for my liking. Not even al dente, just undercooked. The sauce was good though. Pizza was below average. The service was great and the outdoor patio was a nice place to sit.
First of all the staff was so helpful and so fun. Regarding food for both pizza and pasta its one of the most delicious I had tried in Bergen. Also I strongly recommend the Tiramisu as dessert its very very niceeeeee
While visiting Bergen, this was a restaurant close to our hotel, so we decided to try it since they had outdoor seating, and it was a beautiful sunny day. The atmosphere was great. They had a garden area and plenty of shade from the hot sun. The seats were comfortable, and if not for how busy they were, we would have stayed longer but didn't want to hold up the line that was forming. The service was fantastic. They have a Norwegian menu and one in English. We had zero issues speaking English with the staff. The food was great, I had a margarita pizza and in typical Norwegian fashion is made for one person, maybe two if both people are not very hungry. But trust me, you'll want your own. It's that good. I would definitely recommend this to any other tourist visiting Bergen for the first time. As far as I know, if you want to eat inside, make a reservation, eating outside is for walk-ins.
Great food. Gluten free Brew Dog beer and also do gluten free pasta which is awesome for me as a coeliac. All their food looks and smells amazing. Comfortable and chilled with funky background music. Great place for a rainy afternoon in Bergen ❤️
Went as part of a very large group (pre-booked). They have a quite decent group menu for large groups. Servers were nice, attentive and quick. The locale is very pleasant and the decor is lovely, but when full it can get somewhat noisy. There are however different sections, so if you're not too many you can find more secluded and quieter spots. The food was very good.
Was very excited by the vegan offerings in each category. Service started off great work a fast cocktail from the bar with a passion fruit base- lovely. Orders were placed at 6:50pm with great anticipation. We ordered some focaccia to hold us to mains- it was very nice and light. By 7:45 we were looking for our server who seemed to disappear. Finally found her and asked about the meals. She was embarrassed and went to the kitchen about 15 minutes later the food finally appeared in the hands of an expediter. We asked why the lateness and he said it was because we ordered a steak and soup as if it were our error. Shocking. The server came over to apologize and ask about the food. My wife’s food was under cooked and sent back to the kitchen- we feared it would be another 15 or more minutes. It was returned, as originally requested, in 5 minutes. Soup must have had 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne in the base and no cod as promised. The server came over and apologized once again. Another server came by and offered free dessert and coffee as a consolation. We tried the vegan cheesecake which was excellent. Must have been an off night in the kitchen. Disappointing given the cost.
A very good pizza as if you were in Napoli. I would give 4,5 stars if was possible and I want to keep 5 stars for the very best. I had a red quatro formaggi, which was very good. The dough was really good but missed some taste. Besides the blue cheese, which was really nice, the other cheeses were a bit flat. Overall, I do recommend the place!
The garden area is great for outdoor dining. The interior has an authentic Italian country restaurant feel to it. The food and service are commendable. We’ve traveled many times in northern Italy and this is the real deal. Highly recommended. We will be back.
